Though it can be very hot in the summer months, Deer Creek is a great place to camp during the spring and fall months. During the winter tempuratures are very similar to the valley floor so prepare for cold nights and cool daytime temperaturatures.

There is room for 20 cars and 80 people in each camp area and many sites have picnic tables and their own fire pits. If you want a campfire you must bring your own firewood. There is a Playground, Horseshoe Pits, and Volleyball court available as well.

The camp area has running water available however it is advised that all water be treated or boiled before using for drinking or cooking. We suggest that every family bring at least 2 gallons of water. There are pit toilets available in the camp area, along with a picnic pavillion, large grill, and campfire area.

Deer Creek Point is located near the Island Park Campground in the Island Park Recreation Area off of E Trimmer Springs Road, about 1 hour from Hanford. Address to Island Park is 3203 E Trimmer Springs Rd. Sanger CA.
